Private Equity

Uncovering value by identifying great companies and improving their performance

€6.5bn* of assets under management

Targeting high growth potential in private companies which have achieved underlying profitability. We invest amounts usually ranging between €20 and €150 million alongside the management teams, entrepreneurs and founding families who remain majority shareholders.

Helping successful companies fulfil their ambitions. We closely support the management teams of the companies we invest in, across all key aspects of their development (strategic projects for organic growth, external growth, etc.). We also connect companies to our wide network of contacts and experts, to further help them achieve their potential.

Expanding companies and creating value. By providing patient capital and operational support, the companies we invest in are in a better position to seize new opportunities, expand operations, break into new markets and ultimately increase in value.

The Private Equity team also manages the legacy portfolio of Tikehau Capital’s opportunistic investment strategy, comprising both listed and non-listed investments with a global footprint.

Aerospace and Defence: Backing niche players or consolidation platforms

We invest tickets ranging from €10m to €100€ in strategic industries with a concentration in the aeronautics, space and defence sectors. The theme of new manufacturing processes and digitalization tools is a key element of our investments. We focus on innovative players with the capacity to act as consolidation platforms in their markets and sectors.

  • Support: growth or rescue capital to niche players, with an intrinsic industrial or technological value, flexible and reactive approach. We focus on companies that are critical to the aerospace supply chain.
  • Platform: majority or minority investment in consolidation platforms within their target market. We build emerging leaders within the aerospace supply chain to create partners at Tier 1 / Tier 2 levels for aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs.)

Cyber and technology: Providing capital to scale disruptive technologies in digital trust

Within our established impact platform and as part of our imperative as a socially minded investor, we invest tickets ranging from €10m - €50m in technology businesses with a special focus on cybersecurity. With skills in both technology and finance, our team has a proven track record and deep-sector knowledge which adds considerable value for our business partners. Our approach is backed by an active operating group with a long-standing history in the sector.

We provide capital to disruptive technology businesses in digital trust, to enable scale-ups to deliver growth plans. We invest in start-ups and scaleups with commercially and technologically proven products, carrying potential to become market leaders.
