Understanding regenerative agriculture
The result of a collaboration between Tikehau Capital and ID, l'Info Durable, this special issue is devoted to a major theme in the sustainable development of food systems and the environment: regenerative agriculture. Aimed at professionals and savvy investors alike, this book lays the foundations of what tomorrow's agriculture could be, and the urgency of this transformation, at a time when 40% of soils are degraded and cover 95% of our food needs.
The aim of this issue is twofold. Firstly, to clarify the concept of regenerative agriculture: what are its fundamental principles, its environmental/economic and social benefits, and what issues does it address? Secondly, to examine the needs and challenges involved in taking regenerative agriculture to scale, by exploring financed solutions involving all players in the value chain.
